Connect Beauty 2014 is a joint fundraiser event between Women’s Healthy Environments Network (WHEN) and Fashion Takes Action( FTA)
The show feature a silent auction, delicious food, guest speaker from author Rick Smith, photo booth, glam station featuring all natural cosmetics from Marie Natie cosmetics and the main attraction Eco-fashion show, featuring high profile eco-icons, media personalities and sustainable designers.
Some highlights from the Eco-fashion show, featuring designers and boutiques like Vespertine, Chartreuse Style, preloved, Thieves Boutique, Paper People Clothing, Allistyle, Annie Thompson, Miik, meemoza, LNBF, and Aime by Monica Mei. These designers pay extra attention to sustainability by focusing on areas like materials, manufacturing process, minimize chemical use, re-purposed or upcycling.
