Joao Paulo Guedes, is a Brazilian-born, Canadian-based designer, is the winner of the inaugural Emerging Menswear Designer Award (EMDA) by Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*FW). Here is his Spring / Summer 2015 collection shown during Toronto Men’s Fashion Week.
According to Joao Paulo, the inspiration came while working in New Delhi, India. Using Indian temples as the major inspiration, and utilizing black and gold as the major colours, with exclusive prints and fabrics made by Joao Paulo Guedes.
