Stephan Caras Spring / Summer 2015

Stephan Caras presented its Spring/Summer 2015 Luminous collection during Toronto World MasterCard Fashione Week. Radiant fabrics using brocades burst with high-summer gold in ornate patterns, paired with ivories and champagnes glow can be seen through-out the collection consists of tailored jackets, fitted shorts, jumpers and signature Caras jersey gowns. Paired with soft silk taffeta and organza, the whole collection clearly shows Caras’s vision of creating a collections that are feminine and according to Caras, tailored for the woman who is bold, fun and radiates confidence.

“My inspiration comes from the femininity that women exude and my objective is to translate this inspiration into clothing that any woman can wear,” said designer Stephan Caras. “Fashion is an expression; and this season we were driven to expose the depth of a woman’s sensuality and illuminate it through luminous and radiant fabrics coupled with ornate texture combinations.”

“Our vision for this year’s collection was to create wearable light and brilliance, though the use of luminous fabrics and luxurious textures. It was very important to us to achieve a balance between structured lines and soft undertones as a way of making a bold statement while maintaining a sensuous and feminine element to each design,” added co-designer Kyriako Caras.
