Madame Moje presented it’s Spring & Summer 2015 collection during Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week. This season marks the homegrown brand’s second runway show under the World MasterCard Fashion Week tent, and also the opening of their second store in Canada within a year. Established in 2013, owners Hamed Emitaz and Creative Director Malashnee Naidoo design by a simple goal; to make everywoman feel glamorous no matter the time or day.
This upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 runway collection was inspired by Gone With the Wind. In true Madame Moje fashion, the collection is body conscious, with fabrics that envelope the frame highlighting points of design interest across the body. The 1940’s were an important era for fashion, dresses bounced between ultra-conservative looks where the wearer was overly covered, and slinkier pieces that left skin exposed. The line brings in illusion, beading, corsets, lace and separates.
