Fashion on Yonge is a runway event by Toronto’s Downtown Yonge B.I.A., a non-profit organization that creates or advocates for vibrant area events, provides on-street clean and safe services, produces capital improvement streetscape projects and promotes the neighbourhood through branding and marketing initiatives to one of Canada’s most vibrant neighbourhood.
The Fall/Winter 2015 runway show bring together local business and talents, featuring ready-to-wear collections from Canada’s designers and shops long tall sally, Style Society, Boathouse, Mendocino, Jean Machine, Roots, RW&CO, Danier, along with global labels GAP, Bench, Banana Republic and GUESS.
During the show, there are also new talents featured, from Toronto Film School fashion design program, designs by Sandra Al-Dabbagh, Wesley Tang and Ricardo Welch. Also, emerging labels featured in Toronto Men’s Fashion Week are EMDA (Emerging Menswear Designer Award) finalists ante meridiem, Common Grounds by Katerina Kuzheleva, and nowhere by Elisa Medina are presented.
