Startup Fashion Week, a week long event happening Oct 3 to Oct 7, is an unique array of events, that offer guests and startup fashion entrepreneurs an array of events throughout the week ranging from business conference, fashion career and fashion tech forum, runway showcases, and other networking events. Their goal is to help entrepreneurs a better understand and directions where and how to access the right resources to sustain the right level of success.
A few highlights include a Business of Fashion Conference, with Keynote speaker, Barbara Atkin, former vice-president of Fashion Direction, will share insights on Global Trends, along with other speakers discussing various business aspects of fashion business. A Fashion Tech Forum to learn about innovative startups and expert panel discussing where Fashion & Tech could be heading. And lastly, the Runway Show featuring emerging designers from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Australia and featuring Wearable Tech from around the world.
