The White Cashmere Collection 2017

The White Cashmere Collection, featuring couture designs crafted in soft sheets of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue is returning for its annual White Cashmere Collection, kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising money and awareness.  Also a chance for fashion lovers to vote for their favourite design and win prizes.

As with the previous years, this 14th annual White Cashmere Collection helps Canadian Cancer Society (previously known as Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation) kicks off its Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a national fund- and awareness-raiser for breast cancer effort.  The collection also marked the return of the limited-edition Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, in which twenty-five cents from the sale of every package goes directly to the breast cancer cause.

The latest 2017 collection is to celebrate #Canada150 with a National Fashion Student Design Competition, with more than 150 students from across the country participated semester-long design challenge from these fashion design schools include, George Brown College, Seneca College, Ryerson University in Toronto; Collège La Salle, Cégep Marie-Victorin in Montreal; Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Blanche Macdonald Centre, Visual College of Art and Design of Vancouver; Lethbridge College, and Olds College in Alberta and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.

From the more than 150 students, 16 next generation designers were chosen to participated the final runway presentation in which Cashmere fashion bursaries were given out to first, second and third places, in total of $7000.
